I have been working as a person-centered therapist for twenty years and am also a qualified person-centered supervisor and couples counsellor.

I work and live believing in the necessity and sufficiency of the six core conditions.

For more than seven years I taught counselling which included some aspects of supervision work, especially support and education, alongside my supervising and managing placements for volunteer trainees and seeing supervisees in my private practice.

I find it stimulating and rewarding to share my learning and experiences with others and also to learn from them and I assume I will also learn from you. I have a curious nature and I try to think ‘outside the box’ wondering to myself ‘what else may be going on here?’, cross referencing that with theory as well as checking out the legal and ethical aspects of my, yours and others work.

I generally reflect and review the way I work on an ongoing basis and for me it is vital that we feel we have a good enough relationship to work effectively together.

I am a registered and accredited member of the BACP and adhere to their ethical framework. I am accustomed to, and willing, to write professional references.

I have a sliding scale of charges ranging from £40 to £60 per hour  depending on your means. I offer the lower fee as a matter of course to counsellors in training.
